Deathmatch fighting styles, recorded

Because of some recent delays in the scripting area of this website, our quality assurance team has decided to present to you a few small high-tech videos in series showing you some features of Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas "Deathmatch", while the developers work on finishing the release itself.

We've decided to upload these videos to YouTube due to it's ease of use, so everybody can watch it right away. Mind that we will not be setting any release dates. These videos will, as you probably know, be done when they're done.

The videos will show pieces of specific areas of MTA, like in this case, the synchronisation of fighting styles. Fighting styles are completely controlled by scripting, and they include all the single player styles like kung-fu and boxing.

Keep an eye for new videos on YouTube under account MTAQA!

P.S. Have a look at our synchronization as well.

Nice to see the sync isn't too bad. It's certainly better than SAMP from what we can see in this first video.

But not really representative of the future use of the sync, here there's only 2 players or 3 in an interior area. Even on SAMP we can reach such sync with these parameters. Even if I really dislike SAMP, i must tell it. We'll see if the sync will stay that good in the same place with more than 20 players.

Else nice update, you guys can do it, you just lack motivation apparently, from time to time.

Also big thank to the QA we often all miss to thank. Nice present for the waiting...

Synchronization shouldn't have any real significant differences with 2 or 20 players, as long as your server can handle it, and your (and your opponent's) local framerate is high enough.

Thanks for the fast reply, if you say so about synching many people in a small area (150 units radius) it might be good for what i personnally aim to do with MTASA DM.

But i was talking about netcode more than Server bandwidth/power. But i trust you now on this point, we'll see :)

Keep up all.

Yay this looks great!! Funny music!!

But the fact that you still hear CJ saying "Aww" doesn't really fit to those Chinese/Japanese fighters..
